The tours are english spoken. I'm fluent in French, German and Dutch as well. For private tours I use a 4x4 Volkswagen Touareg to access the beaches(4 persons max) Or a minivan for 5-8 persons

I pick you up and drop you off in Paris. Umbrella's are available for the rainy days. For Customized tours I can pick you up at your place of convenience
My name is Hermanus Pieter aka HP. I was born in Holland, earned a degree in hospitality in Switzerland, and worked as a park Ranger in South Africa before settling in Normandy 25 years ago. I have been guiding tours to the Normandy beaches for a long time and I'm fluent in 4 languages. I love to share the profound history of the Normandy region to my clients. When I'm not touring I love to play Country and Folk music on my guitar or piano with my friends. Sometimes we perform on small festivals or play in clubs in Normandy.

If you want a great Normandy tour, book with Hermanus! Oct 2024 • Couples If you decide to visit Normandy, you need to book a private tour with Hermanus! One of the best tour guides around. He was knowledgeable, funny and catered to our needs. He is from Normandy and knows the locals very well. He took us to many special sites that the big tour groups cannot go to. He even timed the tour so we could watch the closing ceremony at the American Cemetary (retiring of the flag with taps). Hermanus, thank you for a great day!Jeff and Sandy

One of the best tours I have been on! Jul 2024 • Family HP was a great tour guide. He's very knowledgeable and personable, and just made our Normandy tour fun! He is obviously very passionate about history and WW2. We could tell that he was absolutely fascinated by history and was able to answer all of our questions. I offer a 100% refund if a reservation is cancelled more than 7 days before the scheduled start of the tour. I offer a 70% refund if a reservation is cancelled less then 7 days before the scheduled start of the tour. No refunds is given for any reason if a reservation is cancelled within the 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour.
